Welcome to Cycle Found. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cycle Found website, marketplace, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using Cycle Found, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Cycle Found is

Cycle Found is an online marketplace that helps people buy and sell used bicycles locally. We provide listing tools, search, AI-assisted guidance, and optional email-relay contact between buyers and sellers. Cycle Found is not the buyer or seller of the bicycles listed on the Service, unless we clearly say otherwise for a specific item.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Cycle Found. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

3. Accounts

• Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• Do not share your login credentials with others.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users.

4. Listings and transactions

• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listing details, photos, condition disclosures, pricing, and location information.
• Buyers are responsible for inspecting bikes, confirming fit and condition, and deciding whether to purchase.
• Payment, meetup, pickup, and transfer of ownership happen between buyer and seller unless Cycle Found expressly provides a payment feature for that transaction.
• Cycle Found does not guarantee that a listing will sell, that a buyer will complete a purchase, or that a bike matches the listing in every respect.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, stolen, or illegal listings
• Harass, scam, spam, or threaten other users
• Bypass safety, messaging, or account controls
• Scrape, abuse, or interfere with the Service
• Use Cycle Found for any unlawful purpose

6. AI features

Cycle Found may offer AI-assisted tools such as bike identification, listing copy suggestions, and the AI Bike Advisor. These features are informational aids only. They can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for confirming listing details, riding advice suitability, and any purchase decision.

7. Messaging and contact

When you message another user through Cycle Found, we may relay your message by email. Do not send abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful content. We may rate-limit or block messaging to protect users and the Service.

8. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as listing photos and descriptions). You grant Cycle Found a non-exclusive license to host, display, and use that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content.

9. Safety

Meet in public places when possible, bring a friend if helpful, and trust your judgment. Cycle Found does not conduct background checks on users and is not responsible for in-person meetups or the condition of bikes exchanged between users.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CYCLE FOUND DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cycle Found and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or personal injury arising from your use of the Service or from transactions between users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Cycle Found for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cycle Found and its operators from claims arising out of your listings, content, messages, transactions, or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
